
Ashley Kreuder, Secretary
Ashley is a Senior Consultant with Ramboll Environ in Denver. She studied Industrial Engineering at Florida State University, and has a Masters degree in Sustainable Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. She has been a SWE member for 8 years, and loves being outdoors for hiking and skiing – check out her recent blog post here. If you want to talk nerdy, ask her about composting!

Erin studied Aerospace Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, and is now a Flight Control Systems Engineer with Boom Supersonic in Englewood. She has been a SWE member for 8 years, and also holds a private pilot’s certificate. Erin recently helped organized the Women in CO Aerospace event, and in her role as VP of PD, she’ll continue to lead and support our section’s professional development efforts this year.

Heather has been a SWE member for 6 years, and studied Civil and Structural Engineering at the University of Michigan. She is a PV Solar Coordinator with Amec Foster Wheeler in Denver, and one of her hobbies is riding her motorcycle through the mountains. Heather recently coordinated our SWE RMS member survey, and will lead other membership activities in her role on the Executive Council this year.

Kaitlyn is a Manager with Rocky Mountain Institute in Boulder, and has been a SWE member for 11 years. She has B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. She enjoys frequent travel for work to the Caribbean, where her team partners with island governments and electric utility companies to advance renewable energy and energy efficiency.

Lisa has served our section as Vice President for the last few years, and has been a SWE member for 9 years. She studied Chemical & Environmental Engineering and Pharmacy & Pharmacogenomics at Colorado School of Mines and the University of Colorado Boulder. She works with the EPA in Denver, and love horses; she has three of them!

Madalene works at Polycom in Westminster, and has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Colorado and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. She has been a SWE member for 20 years, and has served our section as Treasurer and in various other roles. She runs a Maker Space in her free time, where artists and craftspeople share space and figure out things together while growing their own businesses and artistic pursuits.

Megan has been a SWE member for 10 years, and most recently served as our Section President. She is a Project Manager with Dewberry in Denver, and holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and an M.S. in Management from Colorado State University Global Campus. In 2017 she’s participating in a challenge to walk 2017 miles in the year - that’s over 5.53 miles on average per day! With the start of the FY18 SWE year, she is already halfway, and her walks will take her across the globe on 3 different continents.

Shawn in a Business Development Executive with IBM, and studied Economics and International Business at American University and Georgetown. She has been a SWE member for 2 years, and is very excited to explore outreach possibilities with our section this year, including collaborating with K-12 entities, supporting our existing events like GESTEM, Girls Lead the Way, and the Essay Contest, and identifying new opportunities.
