WE16 took Philadelphia by storm last week with over 11,000 participants from 23 countries descending over the birthplace of America. SWE-RMS members presented sessions, volunteered, judged competitions, attended committee meetings and brought home awards. The following SWE-RMS members were recognized for their outstanding achievements, read on for their bios that were included in the 2016 conference issue of SWE Magazine.

For far-reaching technical skills in the oil and gas industry, evidenced by patents, publications, and through leadership; and for dedicated mentoring and the ability to inspire innovation in others.

For leadership that creates environments in which women engineers can flourish, and for spirit and commitment that only grows stronger with time.

For outstanding work on mission-critical satellite systems, for leadership that enhanced the visibility and outreach efforts of the local SWE section, and for supporting the next generation of women engineers.

For all-out commitment to advancing the status, programming, and membership of the Colorado State University SWE section, and for positively influencing the lives of future women engineers.
